Presented by The Toledo Zoom and Aquarium, join us for a special animal-themed story and visit with an animal friend! Register below and library staff will send you a link to join us on Zoom. Only one registration required per family, but please be sure to register at least the evening before the event to be sure you get a link. Join us for a very fun Tails & Tales SummerREAD Storytime at Riverside Park! New animal themed stories, songs, activities, and a take & make craft each week! Storytime is for children of all ages, accompanied by a caregiver. Programs held outside will be cancelled if a Thunderstorm warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program. All programs will be cancelled if a tornado watch or tornado warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program.

Play trivia with other tweens! (Grades 2-6) Library staff will host this program through Zoom and players will submit their answers with Kahoot! Please register below and a staff member will send you an e-mail that includes the link to join the Zoom meeting, and the link to Kahoot!

Recommended for children birth through 36 months and their caregivers. Programs held outside will be cancelled if a Thunderstorm warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program. All programs will be cancelled if a tornado watch or tornado warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program. All programs will be cancelled if a Level 2 Advisory has been issued three hours prior to the start of the program.

Enjoy an afternoon at Oakwoods Nature Preserve (1400 Oakwoods Lane Findlay) while completing an outdoor scavenger hunt with your family! Families will receive a scavenger hunt list at the Richard S. "Doc" Phillips Discovery Center and can return their completed list there for a small prize. This program is presented with the Hancock Parks District.
