Makerspace at the Library: 3-D Art and Engineering

Join us at the library for Makerspace fun. We'll be exploring ways to make 3-D art and engineer in 3-D.

Space is limited and registration is required. Children will be seated at separate tables but same-household groups of four or less can register together to be seated at the same table. All members of the group should be registered together in one registration.

Join us for an engaging SummerREAD Baby Storytime at Riverside Park! Songs, stories, rhymes, and other fun activities for the youngest learners. Recommended for children birth through 36 months and their caregivers. Programs held outside will be cancelled if a Thunderstorm warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program. All programs will be cancelled if a tornado watch or tornado warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program. All programs will be cancelled if a Level 2 Advisory has been issued three hours prior to the start of the program.

Each month we will have a new take home kit with the spices and herbs youll need to make a different recipe from around the world. This month we are making toto for Caribbean American

The Toledo Zoo Virtual Field Trip: Venom

Take a virtual field trip to The Toledo Zoo and Aquarium. We will tour the Museum of National History's Hall of Venom, which includes snakes, lizards, venomous fish, amphibians, insects, and komodo dragons. We'll learn how these animals use venom and their other unique adaptions. This program is intended for kids in grades 2-6. Register below and staff will send you a link to join us on Zoom. Only one registration per family is required. this program is sponsored by the Friends of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.
