Family Night: Gratitude Story and Crafts

Explore gratitude and the things your family is grateful for through a story and crafts. This program is in partnership with the Family Resources Center who will read Grateful Ninja by Mary Nihn, a comedic book about developing an attitude of gratitude for the simple things in life. We will then make two crafts that explore gratitude: gratitude trees and gratitude jars. Please register all family members. Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult. Love playing board games and eating snacks? Teens are invited to come hang out and play board games, card games, and puzzles at the library! Both classic games like Clue, UNO, and Jenga, as well as newer games like Hues & Cues, Telestrations, Unstable Unicorns, Exploding Kittens, and Avocado Smash will be available to play. You are also welcome to bring your own games to share! Light snacks and water will be provided. This program is for students in grades 6-12.
