Internet and Public Computer Acceptable Use Policy
The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library provides public computers and Wi-Fi access to library patrons and guests for educational, informational and recreational use. Computer and internet users are asked to observe the following guidelines when using the library’s public internet computers and Wi-Fi network.
Privacy Statement
The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library (FHCPL) website is provided for information purposes only.
FHCPL collects no personal information from website visitors. FHCPL uses cookies to collect traffic data for analysis, and FHCPL uses Google Analytics to track general use, but does not track or permanently record information about individuals and their visits.
Public Records Policy
It is the policy of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library that openness leads to a better informed citizenry, which leads to better government and better public policy.
Severe Weather Closing Guidelines
Level 1 Alert – The Library is open. The Bookmobile may not operate.
Level 2 Advisory – The Library is open at 10:00AM to 5:00PM. The Bookmobile will not operate.
Level 3 Emergency – The Library is closed. The Bookmobile will not operate.
Public Participation Policy
The Board of Trustees of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library (Board) welcomes public input in its deliberations. The Board further recognizes both the importance of public comment on issues before the Board and the ability of members of the community to express their views on matters of interest to the library.
