Teddy Bear Clinic

Bring a teddy bear (or another favorite toy) to the library. Pediatrician Dr. Ailing Chen and her staff will give your toy a checkup and demonstrate what to expect at a doctors visit. While you wait, they'll be books, coloring, and other activities to do.

Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Registration required. You only need to register once per family.

Vita Tax Assistance Program

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is offering free tax preparation services for individuals who live in Hancock County and whose household income is $60,000 or less annually. You must call 567-250-1955 to schedule an appointment, as appointments are required. They will begin accepting phone calls for appointments starting January 17.

Come to the library on Tuesday, February 28th from 6:00-7:00pm for a presentation about volunteer opportunities at the library and in the community! Students in grades 6-12 are welcome to attend. Guardians are welcome to attend with their teen.
