Zoom Animal Storytime with The Toledo Zoo and Aquarium

Presented by The Toledo Zoo and Aquarium, join us for a special animal-themed story and visit with an animal friend via Zoom! Register once per family below and library staff will send you a link to join us on Zoom. Please be sure to register by noon the day of the event to be sure you get a link. Registration is preferred. Register by calling 419-422-1712 and ask for the reference desk or register below. Adults and teens 16+ are welcome. Walk-ins are welcome if room is available. This month's craft: Crochet Whales Must know basic crochet stitches. This craft is free.

Reading with Gibbs

Need help building reading confidence? Or do you love reading as much as you love dogs? Beginning readers and students in kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to drop in for reading practice with Gibbs, a licensed therapy dog, at the library each week. Participants will receive one-on-one time with Gibbs and his trainer as a way to work on reading strength and confidence while enjoying the company of a furry friend.

Join us for SummerREAD Storytime at Riverside Park! We will sing, rhyme, and read together as we explore Oceans of Possibilities! Storytime is for children of all ages, accompanied by a caregiver. If there is inclement weather, the librarys website and Facebook will have alerts, and Storytime will be held in the Lindamood Room of the library on the same day and time.

Teens in grades 6-12 can join us at The University of Findlay's Mazza Museum for a tour of the "Enchanted Brush" Exhibition followed by a career chat with Curator, Dan Chudzinski. We will meet at the Mazza Museum. Please be sure to register through our online calendar or by calling the Youth Services desk at 419-434-1077.
