Although our collection’s primary focus is on Hancock County, we also have materials from many other Ohio counties as well as other states.      The Hancock County Newspaper Index serves as a finding aid for locating newspaper articles of local and/or historical interest. Compiled by volunteers, it is a “work in progress” that currently indexes portions of Findlay newspapers from 1908, 1916, and 1965 to 2016. The index is searchable by keyword and subject, and provides citation information that can be used to locate complete articles.
