Join us for an in-person Baby Storytime program at the library. We will sing, rhyme, read, and have fun with scarves and bells! Space is limited and registration is required. Please register once per household.

To celebrate Youtheatre's production of "Madagascar: A Musical Adventure Jr." pick up a a take-home activity kit from the Children's Department.
This kit includes a stick puppet craft and lots of activity sheets! Pick one up in the Children's Dept. Available until March 12.

As you consider your long-term financial goals, how do stocks measure up? Andrew Stepleton from Edward Jones will be here to discuss the differences between common and preferred stock, the importance of dividends, and ways to craft your stock strategy! Spring is on its way soon, so lets celebrate by learning all about growing plants. Well examine seeds, learn how to grow plants at home, and decorate a flowerpot. Space is limited and registration is required. Register once per household please, and households will be seated together. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Read for Life will be offering a virtual tutor training class all month long to train volunteers to be Read for Life tutors.  Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering.  Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required.  Read for Life is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the High School Equivalency including math, social studies, and science.  Registration is required by e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.
