Teen Culture Craft: Papel Picado

Teens in grades 6 to 12, join us for a craft night! Papel Picado literally means punched or perforated paper. This traditional cut paper folk art is found throughout Mexico and the former colonies of Spain. Learn about the history of this craft and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

Let your creativity flow by creating some bad art! Have fun with the provided art supplies and we'll vote on the worst art of the night. Pieces will be displayed in the Adult Services Department
through October. Register by calling 419-422-1712 and ask for the reference desk or register below. Adults and teens 16+ are welcome. Walk-ins are welcome if room is available.

Your child will have so much fun they might not even realize they are learning important skills for future reading! No registration is required.
