Makerspace: Bookmarks

Join us for art, science, and engineering projects in our makerspace for kids! Different projects each week.

This week, we will be learning how to make different kinds of bookmarks. Makers will have the opportunity to donate bookmarks to local senior citizens through our the United Way's Senior Cheer Program.

You can DROP IN ANY TIME between 2:00-3:30 PM.
Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Teen Book Bingo

Play bingo and win books! Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to come to the library to play bingo and win free books! Middle grade and teen books will be available to win.

Teen Make & Take: Collage Kit

Teen Take & Make: Do you like mermaids, sea monsters, or sea turtles? Pick up one of our teen collage kits! Kits include many graphics and backgrounds to be cut out and assembled into a collage creation! Kits will be available to pick up at the Main Library in the Teen Department, as well as the Arlington Branch and Bookmobile beginning June 6th. While supplies last.

Baby Storytime at the Library

Do you love comics, manga, and graphic novels? Want to hang out with other kids who love them too? Join our Comics Club to explore great books and learn about how theyre made.
Before each session, participants are asked to read a themed book and bring it with them to the meeting.
June 8: Reread a favorite comic, manga, or graphic novel.
