Despite what people may think, there are various ways to meal prep-not all of which involve spending a whole afternoon cooking. Teen Take & Make: Blackout Poetry - Did you know that April is National Poetry Month? Pick up one of our Teen Take & Make Kits this month and become a poet by creating your very own blackout poetry! Blackout Poetry Kits include instructions for how to create blackout poetry, printed book pages, a pencil, and a black marker. Kits will be available to pick up at the Main Library in the Teen Department, as well as the Arlington Branch and Bookmobile between April 11th and 18th. While supplies last.

Drawing Club: Japanese Calligraphy

Do you love to draw? Join us for drawing tutorials, and hang out with other young artists. This month, we will be learning calligraphy from exchange students from Japan from the University of Findlay. Recommended for grades 2 and up. Space is limited and registration is required. Children will be seated together by household, and you only need to register once per household. Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
