Spring is on its way soon, so lets celebrate by learning all about growing plants. Well examine seeds, learn how to grow plants at home, and decorate a flowerpot. Space is limited and registration is required. Register once per household please, and households will be seated together. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

Virtual Tutor Training

Read for Life will be offering a virtual tutor training class all month long to train volunteers to be Read for Life tutors.  Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering.  Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required.  Read for Life is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the High School Equivalency including math, social studies, and science.  Registration is required by e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.

Storytime at the Library

Zoom Storytime

This is a weekly live and interactive Storytime experience for children via Zoom so you can join us from home or anywhere! We will have a blast rhyming, singing, and reading like we do at in-person Storytime with plenty of opportunities for children to interact and have fun! Registration is required before 8:00 am the day of the event and a Zoom invite will be e-mailed to you before the program.
