Celebrate SummerREAD all June long with Zany Zoo Animal Crafty Kits for Kids! Pick up a free kit today!

Join us at the library for Makerspace fun. We'll be exploring ways to make 3-D art and engineer in 3-D.

Space is limited and registration is required. Children will be seated at separate tables but same-household groups of four or less can register together to be seated at the same table. All members of the group should be registered together in one registration.

Presented by The Toledo Zoom and Aquarium, join us for a special animal-themed story and visit with an animal friend! Register below and library staff will send you a link to join us on Zoom. Only one registration required per family, but please be sure to register at least the evening before the event to be sure you get a link. This program is being sponsored by the Friends of the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library.

Join us for a very fun Tails & Tales SummerREAD Storytime at Riverside Park! New animal themed stories, songs, activities, and a take & make craft each week! Storytime is for children of all ages, accompanied by a caregiver. Programs held outside will be cancelled if a Thunderstorm warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program. All programs will be cancelled if a tornado watch or tornado warning has been issued one hour prior to the start of the program.

Join us for a special Makerspace on Zoom! In our Scavenger Hunt Challenge, you must go on a scavenger hunt around your house to collect supplies. Then, you must use the supplies you've collected to make something that completes a challenge. Enjoy challenging your making skills and seeing what other kids will make. Please register below and a staff member will send you an e-mail that includes the link to join the Zoom meeting and the scavenger hunt list.

Chris Allen from the Blanchard Valley Poultry Association and Hancock County Park District is here to talk turkey! Well learn all about raising poultry - turkeys, chickens, ducks, geese - and we may even catch a glimpse of some cute baby birds as Ms. Allen shows us around her farm! Registration is required if you wish to join us for an egg-citing evening.
