The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is offering free tax preparation services for individuals who live in Hancock County and whose household income is $60,000 or less annually. You must call 567-250-1955 to schedule an appointment, as appointments are required. They will begin accepting phone calls for appointments starting January 17.

Do you like using your creativity and imagination? Do you appreciate language and poetry? Pick up one of our Teen Take & Make: Paint Chip Poetry kits and celebrate National Poetry Month! Kits include instructions and paint chip card samples for you to create your own poetry. You will just need something to write with. Kits will be available to pick up at the Main Library in the Teen Department, as well as the Arlington Branch and Bookmobile starting Monday, April 3rd. While supplies last.
