The CommunityREAD selection for 2022 is "Yellow Wife", by Sadeqa Johnson. The feature presentation by the author will take place on March 29, 2022 at 7:30 pm at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts. A wonderful opportunity for the whole house to enjoy a Storytime together at the library. We will incorporate the same fun activities as our weekly Storytime, just later in the day when it's more convenient for you. Space is limited and registration is required. Please register once per household.

Join us for an in-person Storytime program at the library. We will sing, rhyme, and read together. Your child will have so much fun they might not even realize they are learning important skills for future reading! Space is limited and registration is required. Please register once per household.

This is a weekly live and interactive Storytime experience for children via Zoom so you can join us from home or anywhere! We will have a blast rhyming, singing, and reading like we do at in-person Storytime with plenty of opportunities for children to interact and have fun! Registration is required before 8:00 am the day of the event and a Zoom invite will be e-mailed to you before the program.

At the time of the Civil War, the world of health care was about to be overturned. A discipline which had been based on folklore and magic was about to begin the switch to science-based medicine. Come and learn about this fascinating time in medical history. This program puts the healthcare of Civil War soldiers into perspective and explores the economic realities that played a role in battle deaths.
