Come to the Library between 5:30-8:00 PM during Findlays ArtWalk to see artwork from Hancock County students and Tiny Art designed by local children, teens, and adults. While youre here, you can watch a Mazza Puppet Show, listen to Liberty Bentons choir, Fermata the Blue, and shop at our Friends of the Library Book Sale!

Read for Life Tutor Training

Read for Life will be offering a tutor training class! Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering. Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required. Read for Life is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the High School Equivalency including math, social studies, and science. Registration is required by calling 419-422-3755 or e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.

Baby Storytime in the Children's Department

Looking for a cute addition to your room? Want to make a fun Mothers Day gift? Then, pick up one of our Teen Take & Make: Pom Pom Cactus kits! Kits include instructions and items you need to make one cactus. You will just need glue and scissors to complete the kit. Kits will be available to pick up at the Main Library in the Teen Department, as well as the Arlington Branch and Bookmobile starting Monday, May 1st. While supplies last.

Each month we will have a new take home kit with the spices and herbs youll need to make a different recipe from around the world. This month we are making shawarma for National Barbeque Month! The kits will be available to pick up May 15th-20th. Reserve a kit below.
