Youre invited to an enlightening hour with highly acclaimed writer, journalist, broadcaster, and speaker Lisa Napoli as she discusses her group biography of the four women whose voices defined NPR, "Susan, Linda, Nina, and Cokie: The Extraordinary Story of the Founding Mothers of NPR".

When a pioneering nonprofit called National Public Radio came along in the 1970s, the door to serious journalism opened a crack and four remarkable women came along and blew it off the hinges.

Read for Life will be offering a tutor training class! Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering. Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required. Read for Life is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the High School Equivalency including math, social studies, and science. Registration is required by calling 419-422-3755 or e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.

Baby Storytime

WE'RE SORRY, THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELED. Bring a teddy bear (or another favorite toy) to the library. Pediatrician Dr. Ailing Chen and her staff will give your toy a checkup and demonstrate what to expect at a doctors visit. While you wait, they'll be books, coloring, and other activities to do.

Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Registration required. You only need to register once per family.
