Read for Life will be offering a tutor training class! Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering. Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required. Read for Life is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the High School Equivalency including math, social studies, and science. Registration is required by calling 419-422-3755 or e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.

Join us for an in-person Storytime program at the library. We will sing, rhyme, and read together. Your child will have so much fun they might not even realize they are learning important skills for future reading

Join us for art, science, and engineering projects in our makerspace for kids! Different projects each week.

This week, we will be learning about robotics.

You can DROP IN ANY TIME between 2:00-3:30 PM.
Children 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

Join us for an in-person Baby Storytime program at the library. We will sing, rhyme, read, and have fun with scarves and bells! Children up to 36 months of age and older siblings are welcome.

Join Kirsten Seele, dietitian and health coach from NWO Health and Wellness, for more information, tips, and tricks on how to navigate healthy eating while on a budget. She will discuss both grocery store and restaurant options to show a variety of ways to eat nutritious foods without breaking the bank.

Need help building reading confidence? Or do you love reading as much as you love dogs? Beginning readers and students in kindergarten through twelfth grade are invited to drop in for reading practice with Gibbs, a licensed therapy dog, at the library each week. Participants will receive one-on-one time with Gibbs and his trainer as a way to work on reading strength and confidence while enjoying the company of a furry friend.
