Exploring the Wonders of Nature

Drop in for a hands-on exploration of nature! Activity stations will include animal skulls and skins with the Ohio Division of Wildlife, looking at nature through microscopes with the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership, rock identification, exploring worms in a worm farm, educational board games, and a make-and-take flower planting activity.

Sponsored by the Hancock County Master Gardeners. Registration is not required, but adult supervision is needed for children under 8.

In preparation for the Craft Supply Swap scheduled for April 22, from April 12-19, bring in your gently used (or never got around to using) art and craft supplies for others to be able to create with! Items must be clean and in good condition. Any remaining supplies after the swap will be donated to the library and local donation centers. Please bring donations to the adult reference desk or book donation areas.

Kids Club: Exploring Diversity: Japanese Culture

In partnership with the Borderless Relations Committee with support from You Belong, Kids Club: Exploring Diversity seeks to promote cultural awareness and acceptance. During each session, we will read and discuss a cultural story then further explore cultures through activities like watching short movies, making crafts, and enjoying cultural snacks.

During our April session, we will be exploring Japanese culture.

This program is for grades 2-6 with an adult caregiver.

Each month we will have a new take home kit with the spices and herbs youll need to make a different recipe from around the world. This month we are making menemen for National Brunch Month! The kits will be available to pick up April 17th-22nd. Reserve a kit below.
