Read for Life Tutor Training

Read for Life will be offering a tutor training class! Potential adult volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and are asked to commit to one year or more of volunteering. Volunteers must be literate, however, no professional training or education is required. Read for Life is looking for volunteers to teach reading, writing, English, life skills and subject areas of the High School Equivalency including math, social studies, and science. Registration is required by calling 419-422-3755 or e-mailing readforlife@findlaylibrary.org.

Teen Take & Make: Creepy Flowers Kit

Do you like your decorations a little on the creepy side? Pick up one of our Teen Take & Make: Creepy Flowers kits! Kits include instructions and the items you need to make paper flowers with glass eyeball centers. You will need glue and a small cylinder shaped item like a toothpick or a pencil to complete the kit. Kits will be available to pick up at the Main Library in the Teen Department, as well as the Arlington Branch and Bookmobile starting Monday, October 10th. While supplies last.
